Product Coverage: All Hoist My Top lifting devices.

What This Warranty Covers: This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship from the manufacturing process that would render the product unusable. It also covers items missing from the original packaging, provided the issue is not the result of mishandling by the shipper or carrier.

Who Is Covered? This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the product, as evidenced by a valid invoice or receipt from an authorized Hoist My Top dealer. This warranty is non-transferable.

How Long Does the Coverage Last? Coverage lasts for one (1) year from the date of purchase shown on the invoice or receipt. This warranty applies only to products purchased from authorized dealers of Hoist My Top products.

What We Will Do: At its sole discretion, Hoist My Top will repair or replace the defective part(s) or the entire product. This warranty does not cover third-party labor charges or the cost of returning the product to us.

How to Obtain Warranty Service

1. Contact Hoist My Top directly before returning any item or arranging repairs. Submit a warranty claim by contacting Hoist My Top via e-mail: Customerservice@hoistmytop.com 
2. We will respond in writing with authorization and instructions on how to proceed.
3. Provide proof of purchase (dealer invoice/receipt) and, if requested, photographs of the defect.
4. Do not contact your dealer for warranty service—contact Hoist My Top directly to avoid delays.
5. Return shipping to us is the customer’s responsibility. We will ship any repaired or replacement item to you at no charge.

Customer Responsibilities (Maintenance) You are responsible for regular inspection and proper maintenance of the product. This includes:

• Tightening all bolts, nuts, screws, lag screws, gears, pulleys, casters, U-clamps, hooks, and any other fasteners or components that require periodic attention.
• Lubricating moving parts where specified (for example, the crank-type worm gear on crank-style lifting units).

Failure to perform required maintenance may void this warranty.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover, This warranty does not cover:

1. Defects or damage caused by abuse, misuse, neglect, carelessness, accident, or improper operation.
2. Incidental or consequential damages, including (but not limited to) loss of time, loss of use, towing charges, transportation costs, car rentals, bus fares, or labor costs of installers or third parties.
3. Damage resulting from failure to follow the provided installation instructions or standard safety practices when using tools, ladders, or other equipment.
4. Normal wear and tear, deterioration due to exposure, or cosmetic issues (such as minor paint flaws or foam imperfections) that do not affect the product’s functionality, as determined solely by Hoist My Top.
5. Defects caused by alterations or modifications to the installation location (e.g., home or garage structure).
6. Any issue that would not have occurred had the instruction manual been followed correctly.
7. Failure of the product due to lack of understanding or improper use (for example, incorrect leg placement causing failure of the top bar or your hard top).
8. Shipping damage occurring after the initial 30-day customer satisfaction/return period (shipping damage within the first 30 days is handled under our separate return policy).
9. Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including (but not limited to) online auction sites, unauthorized Amazon or third-party resellers, closeout/refurbished outlets, or any non-approved channels.
10. Any repairs or modifications performed without prior written authorization from Hoist My Top.

Disclaimer of Implied Warranties: This limited warranty is the only warranty provided by Hoist My Top and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Any implied warranties that cannot be disclaimed are limited in duration to the one-year period of this written warranty.

Additional Terms: Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or the limitation of implied warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

All disputes arising under this warranty shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the State of Texas and governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Hoist My Top LLC reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. This document represents the entire warranty and supersedes any prior representations. No dealer, distributor, or other party is authorized to make any modifications or extensions to this warranty on our behalf.
