Jeep Wrangler Hardtop Hoist for More Naked Days

You bought a Wrangler because the roof came off. But taking the hardtop off means finding another person, making room in the garage, or dealing with a large, awkward roof; a perfect open-air day can turn into a day when the top stays on.
Hoist My Top makes that decision easier. The portable lifting system is designed to let one person remove and reinstall a Jeep Wrangler hardtop without a garage.
So when the weather is right, you don’t have to ask whether removing the top is worth the hassle.
You can just take it off.
ONE PERSON | MORE NAKED DAYS | NO GARAGE

Jeep ownership is about freedom, adventure, individuality, community — and transforming the vehicle to fit the moment.

Wrangler ownership is more than simply owning a vehicle.

For many owners, the Jeep represents freedom, adventure, individuality, community, and the ability to transform the vehicle to fit the moment.

Wrangler owners personalize their vehicles with wheels, tires, suspension systems, bumpers, lighting, recovery equipment, storage solutions, and countless other accessories.

The ability to remove the doors and top is another important part of that experience. A Wrangler can dramatically change from an enclosed everyday vehicle into an open-air recreational vehicle.

“That transformation is part of the emotional appeal of owning a Wrangler and the Hoist makes it easier to transform into the open-air recreational vehicle you own!”

You Want the Top Off.
So Why Is It Still On?.

Jeep Wrangler owners already know what it feels like to drive with the top off.
The sky is overhead. The air moves through the cabin. A normal drive feels different.
The problem isn’t convincing Jeep owners that open-air driving is fun. They bought a Wrangler that can do it for a reason. The problem is everything that can get in the way of actually taking the hardtop off.
  • Maybe nobody else is home.
  • Maybe your garage isn’t set up for a permanent ceiling hoist.
  • Maybe you don’t have a garage.
  • Maybe you only have a few hours of good weather and don’t want to spend part of the day figuring out how to remove a heavy roof.
  • Or maybe you’ve simply put the job off enough times that the hardtop stays on by default.
Hoist My Top is designed to remove that obstacle. The goal isn’t to take your hardtop off every day. It’s to make the choice easier when you want your Wrangler fully open.

Five Times You'll Be Glad the Top Comes Off

A Wrangler with its hardtop removed feels different from the same Wrangler with the roof in place. And sometimes, the best reason to take it off is simply that you can.

01

The Perfect Saturday

You wake up to clear skies and mild temperatures. Instead of making hardtop removal a project, you can make the naked Wrangler part of the plan.

02

The Early Trail Run

The group is meeting at the trailhead before the day gets busy. Your Wrangler can start the trip open-air without relying on someone else to help with the roof.

03

The Jeep Meet

A parking lot full of Wranglers is one thing. A row of open Jeeps is another. When the top is off, your Wrangler looks and feels ready for the occasion.

04

The Drive With No Destination

Sometimes there is no trail, meet, or special event. You just want to drive. With the hardtop out of the way, the drive becomes the reason.

05

The First Good Day After Winter

The weather finally breaks. Instead of waiting for a convenient weekend or another set of hands, you can get the hardtop off and enjoy the first real open-air day of the season.

The point isn't more time spent removing your top.

It's more time enjoying your Jeep with it off..

Our Hoist removes your Wrangler hardtop, easily! Drive your Jeep the way you bought it to be driven

“It's beautiful outside. I'm taking the top off.”

Hoist My Top removes an obstacle between the owner and the open-air Jeep experience.

Take the Top Off When You Want To

Traditional hardtop removal can make your plans depend on other people, available garage and equipment, or the right installation setup.

Hoist My Top takes a different approach. It is a portable lifting system designed for Jeep Wrangler hardtops, letting one person remove the roof without a garage or a pulley system on your roof.
One Person
You don’t have to wait for someone else to be available before taking the hardtop off. Hoist My Top is designed around a one-person operation for Wranglers, helping turn hardtop removal into something you can handle on your own schedule.
No Garage or Permanent Garage Mount
Not every Wrangler owner has a garage or a garage with the right ceiling structure or wants lifting equipment permanently attached overhead. Because Hoist My Top is portable, it isn’t tied to one permanent ceiling installation. Use it in your driveway, on the street in front of your house, on the side of your house, or in your apartment parking lot.
Removal and Reinstallation
Taking the hardtop off is only half the job. Eventually, it needs to go back on. Hoist My Top is designed to support both removal and reinstallation of Wrangler hardtops, so putting the roof back on doesn’t require a separate manual lifting process.
More Control Around the Jeep
A Wrangler hardtop is too large for most people to remove by themselves. Lifting it with a purpose-built lifting system makes the task easy and simple.
No problemo!

Just more opportunities to enjoy your jeep naked!

How to Lift a Jeep Wrangler Hardtop Solo

Hoist My Top is designed to connect, lift, support, and reinstall the hardtop.

Position the System

Set up Hoist My Top. Because the system is portable, it can be prepared where the vehicle is parked, the ground is level and there is sufficient space around the vehicle to set up the hoist.
Secure the Hardtop
Connect the hoist to the hardtop using the supplied straps.
Lift the Roof Clear
Use the winch to raise the hardtop until it has cleared the Wrangler.
Store or Reinstall
On non-windy days, you can leave the hardtop suspended in the air while you enjoy your day. If you think the wind might pick up, then it is best to lower the hardtop to the ground. Leave it connected to the hoist so it is easy to reinstall. When you’re ready to put the roof back on, use the winch to raise the hardtop, back up under the hardtop, and lower the hardtop back onto the Jeep.

If You've Ever Left the Top On Because It Was Too Much Trouble

Hoist My Top is for Wrangler owners who want the freedom to decide when the hardtop comes off.
You may be a good fit if:
That last one is the real reason Hoist My Top exists.
The goal isn’t to tell you how to enjoy your Wrangler. You already know.
It’s to make it easier to do it more often.

Freedom Shouldn't Require a Garage

There are different ways to remove a Wrangler hardtop. You can ask another person to help carry it. You can install a permanent ceiling-mounted hoist if you have a garage and if your garage has the room. Or you can leave the hardtop on and wait for a more convenient time.

Hoist My Top gives Wrangler owners another option: a portable lifting system designed around one-person hardtop handling so you can enjoy open-air freedom more often!
Your Jeep. Your Top. Your Schedule.
A beautiful day shouldn’t depend on whether someone else is available. Your garage and your living situation (apartment, house with no garage, etc.) shouldn’t determine whether you can enjoy an open-air Wrangler. And removing the top shouldn’t become such a project that you decide not to bother. Hoist My Top puts that decision back in your hands.
